How to get rid of those annoying blackheads?

First off, let's look into detail the formation of blackheads.

So....
.
.
.
.
.

What Causes Blackheads?

1) Too much oil on the skin!

- A major factor contributing to excess oil production is the onset of puberty. At this time, hormones become unregulated due to a by-product called dihydrotestosterone or DHT (google for more information!). This hormone results in the over activity of the oil gland which then results in clogged pores.

2) Not cleaning skin thoroughly!

- When skin is not cleaned properly, dead skin cells accumulate within the pores. These dead cells then clog the pore opening which then results in oil build up, which we already know causes blackheads to form.

3) Excessive use of makeup! (Yes girls out there, beware!)

- Too much makeup clogs the pores on our skin, and if we do not wash them off thoroughly, these clogged pores end up forming those dreaded blackheads! Not only that, excessive use of moisturizes, foundations or sun screens can also have the same effect as the overuse of makeup! So remember to rid your face of makeup before you head for bed!

Next, let's talk about Getting rid of those annoying blackheads (if they appear for some unknown reason!)
-
-

Whatever you do, DO NOT TRY TO EXTRACT BLACKHEADS FORCIBLY USING YOUR FINGERS OR ANY HARSH DEVICES!

Many people think that this method works best in getting blackheads out, but they are WRONG. Doing so causes permanent damage to the pores. Even though you may be able to squeeze some of the blackheads out, but you could also force some of them deeper into the skin, which may lead to infection (pimples or even cysts!) and PERMANENT DAMAGE! Touching your skin should also be generally avoided to prevent cross infection.

So what can you do? You can use a blackhead remover gel to gently rub off these blackheads. The microbeads of the blackhead removal gel will rub away the dead skin layer that covers your pores, which consists of grease and dirt , thus allowing your pores to breathe freely!
